Are you tired with the the plain walls of your dining room? On of the perfect way to give some great character in your dining room is to have wood wains coating. This ideas for dining room can be similar to those for kitchen. But, make sure the color of the dining table set matches with the wainscoting color.

The kitchen is considered an open space. Dark colored walls tend to make it feel more enclosed than it should be. That is why light, airy colors are often used. When matching the wainscoting to the walls, consider the color or the pattern already in place.
