There is no doubt that the most popular mobile phone internet phone today is the iPhone (3GS). Everybody wants one but with a steep price both for pre-paid and post paid plans,  many of us are (well, me) are satisfied of just reading reviews, browsing apps and basically just drooling and dreaming of having one.

I was in the Cyberzone (Megamall Bldg B) this afternoon scouring every store there of the best laptops (I just lost my Dell Latitude D630… another story) both in price and specs. While doing so, I also entered the Globe hub… there was this 3 iPhone test units and I picked one up and started using it.

I am aware that the iPhone is also an iPod and there are many other apps built-in, but I was surprised to see an app called “maps” showing the map of the metro.. and there’s even a search function. Even without that app, I still want an iPhone but having tested it, I ordered one!

That’s is what I did today using the Axxess Ipod board that slips at the back of the car’s stereo head unit.

I want to believe that I am a music lover. Me and my 30G 3rd Gen Ipod are together for almost 3 years now and I am still satisfied with its performance.. sounds, well it depends on the ear buds. Ever since I bought my first car, a 2005 Mazda 3 sedan, I always wanted to play my ipod in its stereo unit.. I saw this board being sold once, but it’s out of stock.. then i stumble upon this Axxess one.. and it arrived yesterday and installed it today and it worked as expected.. well, almost.
